Tradition cottage

A typical two-storey Jurmala Summer House renovated in 2005. During renovation the traditional elements of the past century wooden architecture were saved; original wooden floors, wide staircase, wood stove and, of course, decoration of many Jurlama houses – a sun-parlour with large glass doors.

Common premises on the first floor – an entrance hall, kitchen, sitting room, verandah. Two bedrooms (a comfortable single one and a specially furnished nursery with a double-deck bed) are also located on the 1-st floor. 4 bedrooms are on the second floor: one bedroom with a double (180) bed, one room with two single beds and besides, a comfortable family block consisting of a bedroom with a double (180) bed with an entrance to a nice single nursery and an exit to a wide glazed balcony.

In the sitting room there is a TV set and radio/CD-player. As well as a large table which can be served for 10 persons. The kitchen is in a distant part of the house separated from bedrooms and includes all necessary things to cook or warm up food for everyone who is living in the house as well as place setting kits for 12 persons. An expandable dinner table can be served for 4-6 persons.

Two bathrooms with a shower and toilet are located on the first floor.

A cosy patio on the quiet street in the shadow of old trees turns you temporarily into natives of Jurmala. Greater part of the summer life is spent in the court yard – you can gather at the table, relax reading a book, sunbathe; and children will have a lot of space to play and have a run around. You can make barbecue or look through a newspaper, have a cup of coffee or a cigarette there. Please note that smoking in the cottages is not allowed!
